Accommodation & Meals
Accommodations on our tours range from comfortable hotels to heritage properties, depending on the destination. In some remote areas, you may stay in safe guesthouses or homestays, ensuring a unique local experience without compromising on comfort.

You’ll need cash for:
- Alcohol, snacks, and personal shopping
- Tips for local staff and guides
All your main meals are included in the tour price, so you don’t need extra cash for breakfasts, lunches, or dinners covered by the tour.
Suggested amount: We recommend carrying between AUD $300 – $500 for the duration of the tour to cover extras comfortably.
Our team will meet you and provide a transfer to the hotel. A welcome briefing will cover the itinerary, motorcycles, safety, and adventure tips on the first night of the tour.
Safety & Support
We offer an optional Motorcycle Damage Shield (MDS). By paying a small fee in advance (amount varies by destination), the MDS covers motorcycle damage up to AUD $1,500. Anything over $1500 will be payable by the rider. You can sign-up for MDS when booking your tour.
Important notes for the Himalayas:
- Motorcycles are insured for third-party liability only, not comprehensive coverage.
- If you have the MDS and a situation occurs where the bike must be replaced, any cost over AUD $1,500 will need to be covered by the rider.
- If you do not purchase the MDS, you will be fully responsible for all repair or replacement costs of the motorcycle in case of a write-off
With Beyond Borders Moto Tours, you’ll never be left stranded with a broken bike or unexpected mishap.
Whether it’s a route change due to weather, mechanical issues, or a medical emergency, you can count on our team to step in quickly and keep your adventure on track. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities so you can focus on the ride, not the risks.
