Day 1 : Arrival in Leh (Altitude: 3,500m) | Riding Distance: 0 km

Welcome to the mesmerizing town of Leh, the capital of Ladakh! Today is dedicated to acclimatizing to the high altitude. Take this opportunity to explore Leh’s vibrant bazaars, visit the ancient Leh Palace, or simply relax and soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Prepare yourself for the adventure of a lifetime as this is just the beginning!

Day 2 : Leh to Tingmosgang (Altitude: 3,050m – 3,400m) | Riding Distance: 100 km

The journey begins! Ride alongside the mighty Indus River, surrounded by awe-inspiring valleys and ancient monasteries. Stop at the historic Alchi Monastery to admire thousand-year-old Buddhist murals, then visit Likir Monastery, home to a stunning golden Buddha statue. The day concludes in the peaceful village of Tingmosgang, known for its fragrant apricot orchards and serene ambiance.

Paved roads with scenic river views and smooth mountain passes.

Day 3: Tingmosgang to Padum (Altitude: 3400 - 3600m) | Riding Distance: 180 km

Get ready for one of the most adventurous stretches of the journey! Today’s ride takes you deep into the wild heart of Zanskar. From Tingmosgang, the road winds through Wanla’s ancient fortress and scenic valleys before the tarmac gives way to rugged, off-road terrain. You’ll cross remote high passes, narrow gorges, and dusty trails that test both skill and spirit.

As you descend into Zanskar Valley, the dramatic landscapes open up — endless mountain vistas, glacial rivers, and scattered stone villages that feel untouched by time.

Road Conditions:
Approximately 60–70% off-road with rocky sections, river crossings, and dusty trails. Remaining sections are tarmac with occasional rough patches. An exciting mix for those who crave a true Himalayan riding experience!

Day 4: Padum – Shinkula Pass – Jispa (Altitude: 3,600m – 4,800m – 3,200m) | Riding Distance: 120 km

Today’s ride is an epic Himalayan adventure! Departing Padum, you’ll navigate rugged trails and winding roads that climb toward the towering Shinkula Pass (4,800m), offering dramatic vistas of barren ridges, turquoise streams, and ever-changing mountain colors. After conquering the pass, the route descends into lush Lahaul Valley, where alpine meadows, charming villages, and river-side views make for a stunning ride to Jispa.

Road Conditions: 40% off-road with rocky trails and water crossings, 60% smooth tarmac.

Day 5: Jispa – Tsokar (Altitude: 3,200m – 4,500m) | Riding Distance: 220 km

Today’s ride takes you from the green valleys of Lahaul to the stark, high-altitude beauty of Tsokar Lake. Leaving Jispa, the route follows smooth tarmac through winding mountain roads and wide-open landscapes, gradually climbing toward the remote plains of Ladakh. As you approach Tsokar, the scenery transforms into a dramatic desert of salt flats, rugged hills, and vast, empty skies — a true high-altitude adventure that feels otherworldly. The day is a mix of thrilling curves, long straight stretches, and breathtaking vistas that make every kilometer unforgettable.

Road Conditions: 20–30% off-road with occasional rocky patches; 70% smooth tarmac.

Day 6: Tsokar – Hanle (Altitude: 4,500m – 4,600m) | Riding Distance: 160 km

Today’s ride is a high-altitude journey across the serene and expansive Ladakhi plateau. Departing Tsokar, you’ll glide along smooth tarmac through wide-open landscapes, passing salt flats, dry riverbeds, and stark mountain ranges. The road takes you closer to the remote village of Hanle, known for its peaceful surroundings and the renowned Hanle Observatory. The vastness of the terrain, combined with the crisp mountain air, makes this a tranquil yet awe-inspiring day on the bike.

Road Conditions: 100% smooth tarmac.

Day 7: Hanle – Umling La – Pangong Lake (Altitude: 4,600m – 5,800m – 4,250m) | Riding Distance: 250-300 km

Get ready for one of the most iconic days of the journey! Leaving Hanle, the route climbs toward the Umling La Pass (5,800m), the highest motorable pass in the world, offering jaw-dropping views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and high-altitude deserts. After conquering the pass, the ride descends through rugged terrain toward the stunning Pangong Lake, with its ever-changing hues of blue reflecting the surrounding mountains. This day combines challenging high-altitude riding with some of the most photogenic landscapes in the Himalayas, creating an unforgettable experience.

Road Conditions: Primarily tarmac with some off-road stretches near Umling La; challenging high-altitude passes.

Day 8: Rest Day at Pangong Lake (Altitude: 4,250m)

Take a well-earned break to relax and rejuvenate. Explore nearby villages, enjoy lakeside walks, or simply unwind while taking in the crisp mountain air and serene surroundings.

Road Conditions: No riding today.

Day 9: Pangong Lake – Shyok – Nubra Valley (Altitude: 4,250m – 3,200m) | Riding Distance: 220 km

Today’s ride takes you on a dramatic journey from the tranquil beauty of Pangong Lake to the stark, desert-like landscapes of Nubra Valley via the remote Shyok River route. The road winds through rugged mountain terrain, narrow gorges, and barren high-altitude plains, offering a sense of adventure and isolation that few roads can match. As you descend into Nubra Valley, the scenery transforms into sweeping sand dunes, verdant riverbeds, and charming villages, blending the starkness of the mountains with the life of the valley.

Road Conditions: Mostly tarmac with some off-road stretches along the Shyok River; winding mountain roads and occasional rocky sections.

Day 10: Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Nubra Valley (Altitude: 3,200m – 3,050m) | Riding Distance: 180 km

Today’s ride explores the remote and culturally rich Turtuk village, one of the northernmost settlements in India, near the Pakistan border. The route takes you through scenic valleys, terraced fields, and desert-like landscapes, offering a rare glimpse into Balti culture and traditional village life. After spending time exploring Turtuk’s historic streets, lush orchards, and stunning viewpoints, you’ll return to Nubra Valley, completing a rewarding loop filled with history, culture, and breathtaking scenery.

Road Conditions: Mostly tarmac with some short off-road sections; winding mountain roads with gentle climbs and descents.

Day 11: Nubra Valley – Khardung La – Stok (Altitude: 3,200m – 5,359m – 3,150m) | Riding Distance: 150 km

Today’s ride is a thrilling Himalayan highlight! Departing Nubra Valley, you’ll climb to the legendary Khardung La Pass (5,359m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world, offering panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and winding roads. After conquering the pass, the ride descends toward Stok, a picturesque village with traditional Ladakhi architecture and stunning mountain backdrops. The day combines high-altitude adventure with scenic descents, making it a memorable ride for every motorcyclist.

Road Conditions: 20% off-road with rocky sections near the pass; 80% smooth tarmac on the descent to Stok.

Day 12: Rest Day in Stok (Altitude: 3,500m)

After days of high-altitude riding and adrenaline-fueled adventure, today is all about rest, reflection, and celebration. Spend the morning relaxing in the peaceful village of Stok or explore local attractions like the Stok Monastery and Royal Palace.

For those who may have missed out earlier, this is also a great opportunity to visit the vibrant markets of Leh, just a short drive away. Pick up souvenirs, local crafts, or simply enjoy the buzz of the town one last time.

In the evening, we come together for a farewell celebration, a time to share stories, laughter, and a well-earned feast with your fellow adventurers as we mark the end of an extraordinary journey.

Day 13: Departure from Stok

The adventure may be over, but the memories are only just beginning. After breakfast, we part ways, not as strangers, but as a family forged by adventure, grit, and the ride of a lifetime. Safe travels as you carry the spirit of the Himalayas with you.

Whether it’s a scratched panel, a dent, or a damaged mirror, you’re covered for minor incidents, so you can focus on enjoying the ride without worrying about repair costs. However, please note that this package does not cover cases of a total write-off (where the motorcycle is deemed beyond repair). In such situations, the client will be responsible for the cost.
